Our Story
At the heart of everything we do is storytelling. Whether it’s a regional destination, a tourism experience or a local business, every place has a story worth sharing.
Wanderlust Communications was founded with a simple idea: that great marketing can help people discover remarkable places. Based in Perth, we specialise in tourism and destination marketing, working with tourism organisations, local governments and operators across Australia. Our work focuses on helping destinations grow awareness, attract visitors and tell the stories that make each place unique.
Tourism is a powerful driver for regional communities, supporting local businesses, creating jobs and bringing people together. That’s why we care deeply about the destinations and organisations we work with. Our goal is always to create marketing that not only reaches audiences but also contributes positively to the places being promoted.
How We Work
-
We begin by learning about your audience, goals and the unique strengths of your destination or experience.
-
Every successful campaign starts with a clear plan. We develop practical strategies that guide marketing activity and maximise impact.
-
From digital advertising and social media to content creation and campaigns, we bring the strategy to life through creative and effective marketing.
-
We track performance and refine activity over time to ensure marketing continues to deliver strong results.
Successful marketing starts with understanding. Before jumping into activity, we take the time to learn about your destination, organisation or business and what you want to achieve. Our approach is simple, collaborative and focused on outcomes.
Our Team
Wanderlust Communications is a small but highly experienced team of marketing specialists who are passionate about tourism and storytelling. We bring together expertise in strategy, digital marketing, social media, advertising and content creation, working collaboratively to deliver thoughtful and effective campaigns for our clients.
We also partner with a network of talented photographers, videographers and creatives when projects require additional expertise, ensuring each campaign is delivered to the highest standard.
